[ ABOUT SOFTMATICA ]

A CRM built by people tired of watching deals slip through the cracks

Softmatica started because three founders kept watching sales, product, and support argue about facts that were sitting in three different tools the whole time.

[ HOW WE STARTED ]

Built out of a shared spreadsheet, actually

Softmatica's three co-founders met at a mid-size dev tools company where the sales team ran renewals off a CRM that had no idea a customer's usage had dropped 60% that quarter, and no idea a critical bug had been open for five months. Everyone found out at the same painful renewal call.

So they started building the CRM they wished they had: one that treats a GitHub repo, a Linear ticket, and a Stripe invoice as first-class citizens next to the deal, not as something you tab away to check. The first version shipped to eleven beta customers, all software companies, all frustrated with the same generic tools.

[ WHAT WE BELIEVE ]

The principles behind every product decision

Four rules that keep Softmatica from turning into another generic CRM.

One record, one truth

Sales, product, and support should see the same account, the same usage data, the same open tickets. Not three exports that disagree.

Automate the busywork, not the judgment

Rules and AI steps should handle logging calls and updating stages, so reps spend their time on the parts that need a human.

Fast by default

A CRM that takes four seconds to load a record trains your team to avoid it. Softmatica is built to feel instant.

Trust is earned, not claimed

SOC 2 Type II, encryption everywhere, and a security team that answers questions in hours, not weeks.

[ THE TEAM ]

Small on purpose

Softmatica is built and supported by a team that still does its own customer calls, which is why the roadmap tracks what revenue teams actually ask for.

Where is Softmatica based?

We're a remote-first team headquartered in the United States, with engineers and support staff across four time zones so someone is always awake to help.

Who is Softmatica built for?

Software companies specifically: dev tools, infrastructure SaaS, and vertical SaaS teams that sell to other businesses and need product data next to the deal.

Is Softmatica funded?

Softmatica is privately funded by its founders and a small group of operators from companies like the ones we serve, which keeps us focused on the product instead of a fundraising calendar.

How big is the team today?

Still small by design. Every engineer takes support tickets on rotation, so the people building Softmatica are the same people who hear when something breaks.
